Formed in May 2020, Argus Community Interest Company is based in Horden, County Durham. We have a small but effective team of just 3 Directors and a Part-Time Volunteer who are all community focussed professionals. Our aim is to provide the best possible service to the community.
A community interest company (or CIC) is a special form of non-charitable limited company. It exists primarily to benefit a community or with a view to pursuing a social purpose, rather than to make a profit for shareholders.
Argus Community CIC works shoulder to shoulder with community and partner organisations, funders, private companies and key individuals to help build a stronger
community. We support individuals to help them develop and upskill. We work alongside community organisations and venues to ensure that they can continue to deliver their much-needed service support
